In the shadow of war, a strange and haunting legend takes place.
Written in the first days of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Katya Gerasimova Bosky’s Fairytale is a lyrical fable about memory, war, beauty, and the fragile nature of heroism. Illustrated with stark black and white paper collages touched with the only colour being blood red, this artist’s book transforms political grief into poetic allegory.
Fairytale is both an act of remembrance and a gesture of solidarity, with all proceeds supporting British-Ukrainian Aid.
